http://www.davidafterdentist.com This is a video of my then 7 year old son David in May 2008I had my Flip video camera with me. His mom wasnt able to go becasue of work. I taped some of the morning before the surgery to show her and was already planning to tape afterwards. He had just had a tooth removed due to Hyperdontia or extra tooth. This was taken in the parking lot of the dentist office. He was so out of it. The staff was even laughing. This lasted for a few hours and he was fine. He even laughed at the video that night. He is very smart and always has something interesting to say about many different issues. His philosophical reaction to the medication didnt really suprise us. David is a very good kid and I am blessed to have he and his brother William as sons. This has been a great experience for our family. Thanks for watching. On our last game drive in the Masai Mara, Kenya we found a pride of lions fighting over a hippo carcass in the Mara River. Our guide, who had 20 years experience working on the Mara, had never seen anything like it before. He thought the lions would have been scared of the crocs. They weren't. There were 6 male lions and 4 female lions at the sighting while we were there. We would have stayed all day, but we had to catch a flight that afternoon! This is part 1. part 2 coming soon.

WARNING!!!!! The video contains footage of an entire hunt and shows and impala being killed by wild dogs, DO NOT watch if this is something you don't want to see. However brutal it may seem, this is truly survival of the fittest and mother nature in action, something I don't see every day and was "lucky" to see in Botswana. It was both shocking and amazing. African Wild Dogs are the second most endangered carnivore in Africa after the Ethiopian wolf (according to some websites, others claim it to be the most endangered). Their numbers are dwindling due to people killing them because they are a danger to their livestock or they find them to be nuisances. Currently in Botswana there are programs to help increase their numbers. At least one of the dogs in the video is collared with a tracking device. On the continent itself, there only remains about 3-5,000, in Bostwana, in the Moremi Game Reserve there is an estimated 150-200. I shot this video at Kirkman's Camp in South Africa in 2008. It was our first ever sighting of African Wild Dogs and we were lucky enough to see a kill. They grabbed a Bush Buck. Most of the kill occurs behind the bush so it's not too graphic. Very little time has been edited out though, so you'll see just how fast they eat the antelope. Watch towards the end when the Leopard comes charging in from the bushes.
